Introduced in the later part of 1800s, electric kettle today is available in various shapes, sizes, standards, capacities and qualities. Based on the brand name, specification standards and other relevant aspects there are varying electric kettle prices in Pakistan which usually come within the economic range of an ordinary individual. Capable of preparing tea within seconds, it is regarded as the best alternative to a stovetop kettle which is heated on a gas, spirit or oil burner and by burning dried pieces of wood. However, the primitive models of this newly introduced technology were not as much efficient as you see them today because the heating element couldn't directly be immersed into water. Instead, a separate compartment was reserved to house the heating element under the water storage area. Owing to its inefficiency, the earliest models were even considered relative to the conventional stovetop kettles of the time.
